Steel fog, over the páramo.
Sub-zero fog rolling across a high Andean páramo, frailejón leaves catching the mist as it meets the rusted steel of a brutalist structure. The taste of cold metal in the back of the throat; somewhere in the grey, an unwarmed espresso, bitter and stripped of every gourmand association — sub-zero metallic air against the deep, bitter warmth of black earth. Austere, intellectual, incredibly sharp.
