Madera Oxidada
Industrial decay, jungle rebirth.
A modernist building in Caracas swallowed back by the canopy. The smell of oxidised iron meeting damp bark; rust, asphalt and heated concrete surrendering to the heavy richness of ancient South American woods. Tonka pushed past sweetness into dry tobacco, guaiac wood that reads as smoked rubber. Shadows, oxidised copper, peeling brutalist facades — the forest reclaiming the city, scent by scent.
